Daughter

Like the oak that stands through winter’s chill,

Rooted deep beneath the silent snow,

There is a strength inside you, steady still,

A quiet light that never ceases to glow.

The seasons turn, the earth begins to shift,

And changes pull at everything we knew,

But hear this promise as a constant gift:

My love remains an anchor, firm and true.

You do not bear the weight of storm or sky,

Nor must you walk this path or grief alone;

Beneath the open heavens, reaching high,

Your sacred heart is safe, your spirit known.

So take a breath, and rest upon the ground,

Let nature hold you when the shadows fall

In every cycle, hope is always found,

And in my love, you are cherished through it all.
